The range covers 5 models - PRD25F (25mm), PRD40F/PRD40A (40mm with optional auto feed), PRD50GA (50mm with auto feed), and PRD65GA (65mm with auto feed). All models feature a robust radial arm that swings and traverses to position the spindle precisely over any point on the workpiece. Spindle taper ranges from MT-3 on the entry model to MT-5 on the 65mm model. Speed range spans 130-2600 RPM on smaller models down to 50-805 RPM on heavy-duty models for large diameter drilling. The PRD50GA and PRD65GA are full-sized industrial radial drills weighing up to 3200kg with 280-330mm pillar diameters. A radial drilling machine has a swing arm that moves the drill head radially and along the arm to any position over the workpiece. This means you can drill multiple holes at different positions on a large or heavy job without moving the workpiece at all. A pillar drill requires the job to be repositioned for each hole location, which is impractical for large or heavy components.

The PRG radial drill range covers 5 models - PRD25F (25mm), PRD40F and PRD40A (40mm), PRD50GA (50mm), and PRD65GA (65mm) in MS.

Both are 40mm radial drilling machines with identical dimensions and specifications. PRD40A adds an auto feed function with feed rates of 0.04 and 0.08 mm/rev, which automates the downward spindle movement during drilling. Auto feed improves consistency and reduces operator fatigue in production drilling.

Auto feed automatically advances the spindle downward at a set feed rate per spindle revolution. It is recommended for production environments where the same hole size is drilled repeatedly, for deep hole drilling where consistent feed pressure is important, and for larger diameter drilling where manual feed pressure is high.

Machine weight ranges from 475kg for PRD25F up to 3200kg for PRD65GA. The PRD50GA and PRD65GA are full industrial-class machines requiring proper foundation and floor loading assessment before installation.

This is the maximum reach of the drill head from the pillar surface - essentially the largest workpiece radius that can be drilled. It ranges from 635mm on PRD25F to 1700mm on PRD65GA. A buyer with large diameter plates or housings needs to match this distance to their largest workpiece requirement.
