Overview

BRADMA Impact Press machines are precision-engineered marking presses designed for high-speed permanent stamping of part numbers, serial numbers, logos and inspection codes on industrial components. Using a spring-loaded impact mechanism, the press delivers a controlled high-force strike - far more consistent and repeatable than hand hammering - with the lowest rejections even on precision jobs. Highly versatile - ideal for light assembly work and sheet metal operations including riveting, flaring, piercing, shearing and bending in addition to marking. Easy to adjust impact force. Automatic compensation for different workpiece thickness. Output speed matches speed of manual loading. Far longer tool and die life compared to hammer striking. Adaptable for automation with appropriate fixtures, tools and dies. Tools with cylindrical shanks are clamped by a collet in the tool holder. Arm can be set and clamped at any height on the column. Fine-ground working table surface with T-slots for speedy fitting of work-holding fixtures. All sliding parts made of selected steel hardened and ground. Available in three configurations - Hand Operated (IP28H) requiring no air supply, Pneumatic Standalone (IP28PN) for production line use, and Portable Pneumatic (IPP7) for flexible bench-free marking at any workstation.

FAQs

A BRADMA Impact Press is a precision marking press that uses a spring-loaded impact mechanism to deliver a controlled, consistent striking force for permanent stamping of part numbers, serial numbers, logos and inspection codes on industrial components. It replaces hand hammering with a repeatable, reliable and faster operation.

The IP28H is hand operated - no air supply needed, making it ideal for workshops without pneumatic lines. The IP28PN is pneumatic and connects to your plant air supply for higher speed production marking. The IPP7 is a portable pneumatic handheld gun-style press for flexible marking at any workstation without a fixed bench setup.

The Impact Press accepts tools with cylindrical shanks clamped by a collet in the tool holder - compatible with BRADMA interchangeable steel type holders, stamp marks, rotary numerators and automatic rotary numerators for a wide range of marking applications.

Yes. The Impact Press is highly versatile and can be used for light assembly work and sheet metal operations including riveting, flaring, piercing, shearing and bending - in addition to marking.

The spring-loaded mechanism automatically compensates for different workpiece thicknesses - ensuring uniform marking depth even when component dimensions vary slightly. Impact force is easily adjustable for different materials and marking requirements.

Yes. The Impact Press is adaptable for automation with appropriate fixtures, tools and dies. The pneumatic IP28PN model is particularly suited for automated or semi-automated production line integration.

The Impact Press can mark up to 16 characters of 1/16" size or 8 characters of 1/8" size in a single strike when used with appropriate type holders.
