Overview

BRADMA Roll Marking Machines are precision-engineered marking systems designed for permanent identification of cylindrical, round and flat industrial components using interchangeable steel types and marking dies. Ideal for marking drills, taps, engine valves, spark plugs, cutting tools, diamond tools, bushes, nozzles, sanitary fittings, hose end fittings, gas lighters, studs, shafts, pipes, bars and rods. The steel types or stamp marks are mounted in a holder fixed to the machine carriage. A simple hand lever or pneumatic system operates the carriage producing a uniform, legible marking. Marking depth is precisely set by adjusting the vertical dove-tail slide which can then be locked for repetitive work. Outstanding benefits include low set-up time, easy operation, high output rates and robust construction using standard tooling. Available in three standard models - RH10 and RH15 manually operated machines for bench use, and RP30 pneumatically operated machine for higher production rates. Standard accessories include Anvil, Roller Cradle, Stud Arbour and Type Holder. Roller Cradles support and position solid round components for peripheral marking - available in three sizes for component diameters from 6mm to 55mm. Stud Arbour provides internal support to hollow round components allowing free rotation during marking. Larger pneumatic models RP50 and RP100 and the heavy-duty hydraulic model RH200 for round workpieces up to 200mm diameter are available on enquiry.

Accessories & Add-ons

Anvil

Standard accessory supplied with machine. Components to be marked can be placed either on the Anvil or directly on the Bed depending on component shape and size.

Request Quote

Roller Cradle

Supports and positions solid round components or thick-walled tubing for peripheral marking. During marking the type holder or marking die rolls over the periphery of the component causing it to rotate in the cradle. Available in RC1 (6-20mm dia), RC2 (12-35mm dia) and RC3 (25-55mm dia).

Stud Arbour

Provides internal support to hollow round components allowing them to rotate freely during marking. Thin-walled components require close-fitting studs to avoid distortion. Components with stepped outer diameters can also be marked with the Stud Arbour.

Request Quote

Type Holder

Precision type holders for mounting interchangeable steel types and stamp marks in the machine carriage. Guarantees accurate type position, positive locking and durability across all standard type sizes.

Request Quote

BRADMA Automatic Rotary Numerator

Mount the Automatic Rotary Numerator in the roll marking machine for sequential serial number marking on cylindrical components - numbers advance automatically after every stroke.

Request Quote

BRADMA IST Loose Types

Interchangeable steel types and stamp marks for loading into the type holder - available in all standard sizes for marking part numbers, serial numbers, logos and batch codes on round components.

FAQs

A BRADMA Roll Marking Machine is a precision marking system where interchangeable steel types or stamp marks are mounted in a holder on the machine carriage. A hand lever or pneumatic system moves the carriage across the component surface, rolling the types over it to create a uniform, legible permanent mark.

The RH10 and RH15 are manually operated bench machines - no power or air supply needed. The RH15 has a larger base-to-die-face capacity of 119mm versus 69mm on the RH10, making it suitable for larger diameter components. The RP30 is pneumatically operated and delivers up to 600 components per hour for higher production requirements.

The machine marks cylindrical solid or hollow components, flat components and odd-shaped components. Typical applications include drills, taps, engine valves, spark plugs, cutting tools, bushes, nozzles, shafts, pipes, rods, hose end fittings, gas lighters and studs.

A Roller Cradle supports and positions solid round or thick-walled components for peripheral marking. During marking the type holder rolls over the component periphery causing it to rotate in the cradle - ensuring the mark wraps uniformly around the component. Three sizes cover component diameters from 6mm to 55mm.

A Stud Arbour provides internal support to hollow round components - such as thin-walled tubes or bushes - allowing them to rotate freely during marking without distortion. Components with stepped outer diameters can also be marked using the Stud Arbour.

Yes. By mounting a BRADMA Automatic Rotary Numerator in the type holder, serial numbers advance automatically after every marking stroke - ideal for high-volume sequential numbering of cylindrical components on a production line.

Yes. The RP50 pneumatic model marks round workpieces up to 140mm diameter with up to 3 lines of 3mm characters. The heavy-duty hydraulic RH200 marks round workpieces up to 200mm diameter and flat workpieces up to 170mm thickness with up to 8 lines of 3mm characters and output up to 600 components per hour. Contact us for details.

The machine is compatible with all standard Bradma interchangeable steel types, stamp marks and type holders - using the same tooling as the Impact Press and hand marking systems for maximum flexibility and lower tooling cost.

Yes. Max Machine Tools supplies BRADMA Roll Marking Machines Pan-India and handles export orders.
