Overview

The HABA R Series metal cutting bandsaw machines are built for high-production and non-stop industrial cutting operations. Available in three sizes - 225mm (HMM9R), 300mm (HMM12R), and 330mm (HMM13R) - this range covers a wide spectrum of round bar and square section cutting requirements for engineering workshops, fabrication units, steel service centres, forging shops, and heavy manufacturing plants. All models are fitted with ISI and IE2 grade CE marked motors, heavy-duty worm gear and shaft assemblies manufactured from PB2 and 20MN CR5 hardened materials, minimum of 360mm diameter flywheels with heavy ribs, casting arms for blade guides, adjustable auto cut-off, and a built-in coolant pump system. The HMM13R additionally features a German-designed arm and blade guide with original carbide blade guides with bearing supports for higher precision cutting. Every machine is supplied fully assembled and tested - connect 3-phase power and start production from day one. Lifetime spare parts guarantee on all models. More than 260 to 290 units sold per model across India till 2025.

The models differ in cutting capacity and motor size. HMM9R cuts up to 225mm round and 150 x 300mm square with a 2 HP motor. HMM12R cuts up to 300mm round and 250 x 300mm square with a 2 HP motor. HMM13R cuts up to 330mm round and 250 x 400mm square with a 3 HP motor and German-designed carbide blade guides for higher precision cutting. Choose based on the maximum bar size needed in regular production.

Yes. All HABA R Series models carry a lifelong guaranteed supply of spare parts. This guarantee holds even if the model or design changes in future, ensuring your machine is supported for its entire working life.

All three models require a 3-phase power supply. HMM9R and HMM12R use 2 HP 3-phase motors. HMM13R uses a 3 HP 3-phase motor. Please confirm a stable 3-phase supply is available at your facility before ordering.

Yes. HABA R Series machines cut mild steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, tool steel, aluminium, copper, and other metals. For stainless and alloy steel, use bimetal blades with appropriate tooth pitch and select a lower blade speed for better blade life and cut finish.
