BRADMA IST Special Types are custom-manufactured interchangeable steel marking types engineered for applications where standard types cannot be used. Available in a wide range of special profiles and configurations including Segmental, Radial, Grooved, Stepped, Low Stress (Dotted), Concave, Convex, Extra Long, T-Shape, L-Shape, I-Shape, Z-Shape, Rectangular Through Holed, Grooved Crimping and Double Grooved types. Special types are also available for Hot Stamping applications on surfaces up to 900 degrees Celsius - used in forging, foundry, railway and steel industries. Types for packaging applications including Blister Packing, Cartonators, Collapsible Tubes, Crimping, Sachets and Tetra Packs are also available. Custom calligraphy and logo types can be manufactured on request. All special types are made to order - share your component drawing, marking requirement and application details and we will engineer the right solution.

BRADMA IST Special Types are custom-manufactured marking types engineered for applications where standard rectangular types cannot be used - such as curved surfaces, hot metal, packaging lines, stress-sensitive components and special logo or calligraphy requirements.

Share a drawing of the component to be marked, the location and size of the marking, the character size and style required, the material and hardness of the component at the time of marking, and whether any machining will be done on the marked surface after marking.

BRADMA hot stamping types are suitable for marking on surfaces up to 900 degrees Celsius - used in railway axle marking, steel billet identification, forging and foundry applications.

Low stress types have a dotted face instead of a solid face. The dotted impression reduces stress concentration on the marked surface - critical for hardened components, aerospace and defence parts where surface integrity must be maintained after marking.

Yes. Custom logo and calligraphy types are available. Share your logo artwork or calligraphy specification along with the required character size and we will engineer the type to match.

Reverse types have a mirror-image character face. They are used for forging dies, die casting dies and rubber moulds - where the mark needs to appear correctly readable on the finished cast or forged part.

Most special types are designed to fit standard Bradma holders. However some profiles - such as grooved crimping or extra long types - require special holders. Share your requirement and we will confirm holder compatibility.
