VELSE IST Type Holders are precision-engineered metallic holding tools designed to securely house interchangeable steel types and stamp marks for hand stamping and machine marking operations. Manufactured by Max Machine Tools under the VELSE brand from higher grade heat-treated alloy steel, with tighter slot tolerances engineered from direct customer feedback - ensuring better type alignment, more consistent impressions and longer holder life compared to standard holders in the market. Available in Hand Holders for manual stamping and Machine Holders for press and roll marking machine operation. Positive locking of types prevents movement during striking. Quick change of types enables fast character changeover without tools. Special 2-line holders for simultaneous multi-line marking are available. VELSE holders are compatible with both VELSE D3 tool steel types and standard Bradma IST types - making them a direct upgrade option for buyers with existing type sets. As the direct manufacturer, Max Machine Tools provides genuine spares, faster support and closer technical assistance than any dealer-supplied product. Buy separately to use with loose types, as an additional holder for a second marking station, or as a replacement for a worn holder.
